Fire in the High Fens!

Visitors are strongly urged not to enter the Hihg Fens area and to keep away from the incident site.

The authorities appeal to the public and to day-trippers to strictly respect the barriers. This is the only way to ensure that rescue and emergency services can operate without obstruction. The High Fens is a specially protected natural area with sensitive peatland and heathland habitats.
