The High Fens are, without doubt, one of the most unspoiled landscapes in the region between Eifel and the Ardennes. It is one of Europe’s last remaining high moors and is situated between the towns of Malmedy, Eupen, Spa and Monschau. The High Fens still boast some last authentic wilderness areas which were formed on the barren, impermeable soils at the end of the last Ice Age some 10,000 years ago. A fabulous place for all nature lovers.
